Six connections of water tank sensors

Six sensors provided to be installed in water tanks. Three into overhead tank and three into underground tanks. Sensors placement should be as shown in this image. All three sensors into water tank is required for fully automatic operation.

Motor will be turned on only if underground tank all three sensors into the water.

Middle sensor “OL” in the overhead required to turn on the motor when water reaches below this sensor.

Middle sensor “UL” required to stop the motor when water reaches below this sensor.

High quality long durability sensors

Six numbers of sensors provided with this controller. This sensors are having best in quality sensing material and having 1.5 meter wire attached with it.

Sensors having all the wires in single color. So all the sensors are the same. Just need to be installed as per diagram on the controller.

Cable selection for controller

1.0 square mm wire and below this size cables are accepted to be used for sensor installations. Small gauge wires can obtain more distance covered between sensor to controller. Higher gauge in wire can loss the signal between controller and sensor.

Recommended wires for sensor installations are, Telephone cable, 0.5 square mm three core wire, internet cable or 0.25 square mm three core flexible wires.

For power connections 2.5 square mm wires should be used.

Useful for only overhead tank

At some locations underground tank is not available so short C-UL-UH each other and underground tank sensors are bypassed. Then only three sensors need to be installed in overhead tank.

To avoid dry running of motor we recommend to install underground tank sensors so whenever water is not present into the source tank, motor will not run.

This controller can not be connected with button type multicapacitor starters

We advice please do not buy this controller if pump starter have red and green operative buttons and multi capacitors inside the starters.

Only mcb type starters and having running capacitor starters can be used with this controller

For sensor installation, we recommend 0.5 square mm or less guage wire to be used like telephone cable. For power terminals, 2.5 Square mm wire to be used.
6 Nos Stainless Steel Different Colour Sensors. Option to bypass three underground tank sensors by looping C-UL-UH together if underground tank not available. All three sensors into water tank are must be installed for automatic operation.

In Automatic Mode fully automatic operation based on sensors feedback. No need to press any start or stop buttons in automatic mode. In manual mode only, motor on off done by START STOP buttons.
Tank water level indications like UL(Underground Low-Red), UH(Underground High-Yellow), OL(Overhead Low-Yellow), OH(Overhead High-Red). Coulours of led’s are used only for differentiation purpose. Motor on indication (Green).
Working Logic of sensors is like, UL+UH= motor On, OL+OH= motor OFF, Below UL = motor Off, Below OL = motor On, C sensor for providing feedback to other sensors & it is necessary.
